0-10 Tuning

In this system all rates are entered “as is” during analysis. However, prior to broadcast, those representing unwanted conditions must be inverted by subtracting each digit from 10. These often, but not always, begin with a multiple of ten (followed by a dot), to be set on the dial nominated 10x expressly for this function. By convention, all other rates start on the second. For example, the nullifying force for 20.6.4.0.1 would be dialed in as 80.2.6.10.9. By contrast, any rate not so converted is said to strengthen, or predispose manifestation of, the condition or substance it represents.

It is also accepted practice to dial in two or more individual rates in series. One reason would be to focus an influential tuning upon a defined region within the recipient. For this purpose, some instruments incorporate additional dials or banks of same, as evidenced by gallery images on other pages.

The dial face above is also adaptable to base 100. It approximates the 270 degree rotation standard to many potentiometers. However, manufacturing variations may require the image to be “stretched” slightly in software so its extremities coincide exactly with those of the potentiometers at hand.

Builders seeking the historical look can match the above 180 degree, half-plate capacitor dial to a potentiometer. Line up the potentiometer’s full CCW rotation with the “0” mark, fasten to the panel, and then near the 100 mark insert a physical stop pin for the knob’s pointer.

Any dial used with the base 100 system should be sufficiently enlarged to allow for rates requiring quarter-increment resolution, and fitted with a sharp-pointed knob. Fabricate the latter by gluing a sewing needle or similar into the side of a large round knob.

These publications reveal how some manufacturers envisioned their instruments being used. As often the case with subjective modalities, some of the techniques may seem superfluous, idiosyncratic or simply outdated. Choose what inspires confidence and works reliably for you.

Software-based products have recently emerged that replace the stick plate with skin electrodes while rates are cycled through in computer memory. Those found relevant to the condition at hand are then displayed on-screen, to be administered through the same interface. Apart from automation, this bestows no significant advantage over a traditional instrument in the hands of a skilled operator.
